Tools used for heavy-load applications, such as grinding and sawing, will require higher capacity batteries (4.0Ah to 5.0Ah) to give a longer run-time. Tools used for light-load applications (such as drilling and lighting) can be used with a lower capacity battery (1.5Ah to 2.5Ah) to save weight and space.
