AS SEEN ON TV

I have purchased several pieces of equipment through Ryobi and have not had any issues with any of them up until recently. The pressure washer that I purchased unfortunately decided to stop working correctly. So after contacting Ryobi, they informed me of the procedure to sending the equipment back for repair. I followed the instructions which I must admit did seem a little bit weird and cumbersome that you had to set up another account within Ryobi warranty for the repair, surely it could be all combined within my account that I have already with Ryobi? Once I had set up another account with the repair service and entered all my details and followed the instructions, correctly packed my pressure washer in a suitable box with suitable protection I then delivered to the collection point and it was collected. No problem with this process. Having received a couple of emails and messages stating that my item had been collected and delivered I did not really get much communication with regards what the repair was, or was needed etc. However the Next communication I got was your parcel he's ready to be collected by the delivery service and will be delivered. Following this, I then received a message from the delivery company stating it will be delivered on a day with no estimated time of delivery. I was expecting to have to go to the collection point where I dropped off the pressure washer but it was actually delivered to my house and luckily starred in my parcel box for safety. So all in all a good Service and my pressure washer was replaced with a new item so I can now use it, however I would appreciate in this modern day of technology further communication between customer and delivery company, as we know there is a vast difference between delivery companies on their communication skills. With previous experience of using many delivery services, UPS is probably one of the worst four communications, in any format. What communications you do get is very limited. With all the modern technology that is available some delivery companies give you at least a two hour timeslot as to when the delivery is expected and some of them you can actually track the driver, as UPS is one of the biggest companies in the world. Why do they make it so difficult? Ryobi itself, I've done a very good job and I am very happy to have received a new piece of equipment to replace the broken one. It is just a shame your delivery company you use let down the whole service from 5 stars with a lack of communications from your delivery service. Once again, thank you Ryobi for your support and excellent service. It is just a shame that they delivery portion let you down, hence the 4 out of five stars it would've been 5 out of 5 otherwise. Thank you.
