If you can't return the Non-Genuine battery, make sure to dispose of it properly. Retailers selling lithium-ion batteries are required to accept returns for recycling. If the seller can’t take it back, you can drop the battery off at electronics stores, collection points, or recycling centres. Many supermarkets also accept used batteries.
