2022 RYOBI Modular Storage Competition Terms and Conditions:

 

  1. 1. The Promotor
    1. 1.1 The RYOBI Modular Storage Competition 2022 ("Promotion") is promoted by Techtronic Industries UK Ltd, whose registered address is Suite A, Second Floor, Malow International, Parkway, Marlow, UK, SL7 1YL ("Promoter").
    2. 1.2 Entry into Promotion is deemed acceptance of this Agreement. Entrants will be subject to the terms of use of the Ryobi website found here https://uk.ryobitools.eu/footer-links-en/terms-of-use/

 

  1. 2. ELEGIBILITY
    1. 2.1 This  Promotion is open to any mainland UK resident over the age of 18 years at the date of entry.
    2. 2.2 Employees, officers and directors of Techtronic Industries (UK) Ltd and its affiliated companies or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the Promotion or helping to set up the Promotion shall not be permitted to enter the Promotion.
    3. 2.3 Entrants are responsible for ensuring that they are entitled to participate.  Proof of eligibility may be required and prizes withheld until Promoter is fully satisfied the above criteria are met.
    4. 2.4 There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this Promotion, however internet connection and mobile data rates may apply to the entrant. The cost of accessing the Promotion website will be dependent on the entrant’s individual internet service provider and shall be the responsibility of the entrant only. Promoter holds no liability towards entrant costs.
    5. 2.5 By entering this Promotion, an entrant is indicating his/her acceptance and agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

  1. 3. HOW TO ENTER
    1. 3.1 The Promotion begins at 10:00am on 21/10/2022 and ends at 11:59pm on 10/11/2022 (the “Promotion Period”).
    2. 3.2 Route to entry for the Promotion and details of how to enter are via https://uk.ryobitools.eu/sign-up/sign-up-to-win/   
    3. 3.3 To enter the competition, entrants must be a part of the RYOBI® marketing database.
    4. 3.4 To enter the RYOBI® marketing database;

      1. i. All entrants by entering their details (including email address) agree to be subscribed to the RYOBI® marketing database and have read and accepted the T&Cs of the promotion. Entrants will also have to tick that they’ve read the website privacy policy which will be included on the competition sign-up page (link provided for clause 3.2)
      2. ii. The recipient will be sent a verification email, which they must accept to in order to be added to the database and be eligible for the sweepstake.

  3. 3.5 The prize will be given away to one selected winner only, chosen at random at the end of the Promotion Period. (see Annex 1).
  4. 3.6 The competition winner will be awarded the prize listed at (see Annex 1)
  5. 3.7 The winners will be selected randomly from all the correct entries on the 11th November 2022.
  6. 3.8 Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups, syndicates or the like will not be accepted. We will not accept cheating in any form including the use of macros or other automated means of entry, masking of identity by manipulating IP addresses, using any false identity or any other behaviour that falls outside the spirit of the promotion (to be determined at our absolute discretion) . Any entrant found to be cheating will be excluded.
  7. 3.9 Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not received, deleted, altered or that are invalid, regardless of the reason.

 

  1. 4. PRIZES AND WINNERS ANNOUNCEMENT
    1. 4.1 There is a total of one prize available to win
      1. 4.1.1 one “grand prize” available (see Annex 1), where the one winner will be drawn at random on the 11th November 2022.
    2. 4.2 The grand prize winner will be chosen at random using a computer-generated selection by the Promoter from all valid and correct entries from 21st October 2022 to 10th November 2022. The winner will be announced no later than 11th November 2022 (11:59:59 pm GMT). The grand prize will be delivered within 30 working days from the date the sweepstake winner provides their postal address to the Promoter.  
    3. 4.3 The winner will be notified by email where the Promoter will request a UK mainland delivery address for sending the prize. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within fourteen (14) days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and select a replacement winner. The Promoter shall have no liability for winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.
    4. 4.4 Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this Promotion and no cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of similar characteristics without giving notice.
    5. 4.5 The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Promotion will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

  1. 5.0 DATA PROTECTION
  2. 5.1 Personal data relating to the entrants will be used for the purposes of this Promotion in accordance with the current GDPR legislation and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy found at http://uk.ryobitools.eu/footer-links/privacy-policy/. The Promoter reserves the right to contact all entrants to verify their personal data. For the avoidance of doubt, any entry made in relation to the Promotion as set out at Clause 3 will be deemed to have given consent for the Promotor to process all personal data as defined under Art.4 (1) General Data Protection Regulation 2016/ 679.

  2. 6. GENERAL
    1. 6.1 Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion and these terms and conditions without notice at any time. Any changes to the Promotion will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Promoter. 
    2. 6.2 The Promotion and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
    3. 6.3 If any provision of these terms and conditions are held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
    4. 6.4 Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or affiliates will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
