WHY USE THE EDGER?

HOW TO EDGE YOUR LAWN

Mow entire lawn so you can clearly see edges.

Remove any obstacles (roots, stones, etc.) from edges.

Position front and back guide wheels alongside the edge.

Select optimal height setting.

Turn on tool and begin to follow defined path slowly. After a few steps check the depth is correct.

Every 1.5 to 2 meters brush the trimmings off the edge you’ve cut to ensure consistency of the line.

Once complete, trim any remaining grasses with sheers. Do not re-edge.

THE BEST TIME TO EDGE

Edging can be done several times a year for maintenance.

The main growing period for grass is April-May, therefore, edging in June will produce the longest results as grass grows less between July-December.

Moisture content of soil: To achieve a clean, crisp edge, avoid edging when soil is saturated with water or dry to the point of crumbling.
