Create a template using cardstock of the shapes for the 24 triangle shapes that will be cut into the top edge of the board. Use a pencil to trace the triangle shapes onto the top edge of the board. With the rotary tool and using a drill bit, drill 24 holes on the bottom edge of the board, spaced 2.5cm apart (these holes are where the cup hooks will go.

STEP 2

(Optional) Paint wooden star. Using a vinyl cutting machine, print and cut numbers 1-24 in desired size/font. You could also use a paint marker to add the numbers. Adhere vinyl numbers to board underneath its corresponding triangle. Or use pen r paint and write down numbers.

STEP 5

Take a cup hook and manually twist into the pilot hole previously created with the rotary tool, rotating the hook once. Insert the end of the screw eye hook into the 18V ONE+™ Cordless Brushless Drill Driver, securing the drill/driver round the threaded end. Slide the open end of the cup hook into the closed eye hook.

STEP 6

Slowly engage the drill/driver turning the eye hook which will force the cup hook to screw into the edge of the board (this is a great time saving, and hand saving, method when installing several cup hooks at once). Repeat until all cup hooks are in place. Attach desired mounting hardware. Hang desired small gift bags, envelopes, or other special surprises from the hooks. Hang board on the wall, adding wooden star.
