When activated the blade cuts in an elliptical motion to provide an impressive 40% more power than any other Ryobi^® brushed recip saw, as well as outperforming the Ryobi^® 1200W corded recip saw.

Even with all this power, users can still cut with accuracy and comfort as the innovative Anti-Vibe™ handle helps to absorb the vibrations. A variable speed trigger also provides ultimate control when cutting different materials. This helps get the cut started before full power is applied to quickly slice through wood, metal or plastic.

With any recip saw it is important to use the correct blade for the material you intend to cut. A tool-less blade clamp on the R18RS7 makes it quick and easy for users to change the blade between tasks.
