Ryobi Big Tool Quiz Giveaway 2020 Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”)

1. 1. The Promotor
   1. 1.1 The Ryobi Big Clean Up with ONE+ Giveaway 2020 ("Promotion") is promoted by Techtronic Industries EMEA Ltd, whose registered address is Ground Floor, Unit 3 Globeside Business Park, Fieldhouse Lane, Marlow, UK, SL7 1HZ ("Promoter").
   2.  1.2 Entry into Promotion is deemed acceptance of this Agreement. Participants will be subject to the terms of use of the Ryobi website including the privacy policy available at: http://uk.ryobitools.eu/footer-links/privacy-policy as well as any additional entrance instructions that may be posted on the Promoter’s website.

 

2. 2. ELEGIBILITY
   1. 2.1 This Promotion is open to any UK resident over the age of 18 years at the date of entry.
   2. 2.2 Employees, officers and directors of Techtronic Industries (UK) Ltd and its affiliated companies or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the Promotion or helping to set up the Promotion shall not be permitted to enter the Promotion.
   3. 2.3 Entrants are responsible for ensuring that they are entitled to participate, and proof of eligibility may be required, and prizes withheld until Promoter is fully satisfied the above criteria are met.
   4. 2.4 There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this Promotion; however, internet connection and mobile data rates may apply to the entrant. The cost of accessing the Promotion website will be dependent on the entrant’s individual internet service provider and shall be the responsibility of the entrant only. Promoter holds no liability towards entrant costs.
   5. 2.5 By entering this Promotion, an entrant is indicating his/her acceptance and agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3. 3. HOW TO ENTER
   1. 3.1 The Promotion begins at 8:00am GMT on 16/11/2020 and ends at 11:59pm GMT on 07/12/2020 (the “Prize draw Period”).
   2. 3.2 Route to entry for the Promotion and details of how to enter are via the following link; https://uk.ryobitools.eu/competition/cleaning/
   3. 3.3 To enter the Promotion, entrants must correctly answer the multiple-choice question provided via the link at clause 3.2 and enter their name and email address.
   4. 3.4 There shall only be one correct answer to the multiple-choice question.
   5. 3.5 The entrant must first select an answer to the multiple-choice question followed by filling in their name and email address. The entrant must go on to click the ‘Submit’ button which   shall automatically generate a message confirming entry to the competition
   6. 3.6 For the avoidance of doubt, only entrants who have answered the multiple-choice question correctly shall be put forward for the promotional prize set out at clause 3.9.
   7. 3.7 The prize draw (the “Prize draw Day”) shall be drawn at the end of the promotion on 07/12/2020. All entrants who have correctly guessed the multiple-choice answers, entry via clause 3.2  will automatically be entered in the Prize draw Day to win a Ryobi ONE+ Cleaning Starter Kit (Appendix 1). The winner of the Prize draw Day will be awarded the following Promotion prize: 1x Ryobi ONE+ Cleaning Starter Kit (Appendix 1).
   8. 3.8 Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups, syndicates or the like will not be accepted. We will not accept cheating in any form including the use of macros or other automated means of  entry, masking of identity by manipulating IP addresses, using any false identity or any other behavior that falls outside the spirit of the promotion (to be determined at our absolute discretion) . Any entrant found to be cheating will be excluded.
   9. 3.9 Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not received, deleted, altered or that are invalid, regardless of the reason.

4. 4. PRIZES AND WINNERS ANNOUNCEMENT
   1. 4.1 There are 10x Ryobi ONE+ Cleaning Starter Kits as currently made available by the Promoter in the UK market.

1. 4.2 The winner will be chosen at random using a computer-generated selection by the Promoter from all valid and correct entries during the Promotion. The winner will be announced no later than December 10th 2020 (11:59:59 pm GMT).

1. 4.3 The Prize draw Day winner will be randomly selected on the 10/12/2020.   The winner will be notified by email, where the Promoter will request a UK delivery address for sending the prize. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within fourteen (14) days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and select a replacement winner. The Promotor shall have no liability of winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for the winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.

1. 4.4 Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this Promotion and no cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of similar characteristics without giving notice.

1. 4.5 The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Promotion will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

5. DATA PROTECTION

5.1 Personal data relating to the entrants will be used for the purposes of this Promotion in accordance with the current GDPR legislation and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy found at http://uk.ryobitools.eu/footer-links/privacy-policy. The Promoter reserves the right to contact all entrants to verify their personal data.

5.2 For the avoidance of doubt, any entry made in relation to the Promotion as set out at Clause 3 will be deemed to have given consent for the Promotor to process all personal data as defined under Art.4 (1) General Data Protection Regulation 2016/ 679. 

6. 6. GENERAL
   6. 6. Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion and these terms and conditions without notice at any time. Any changes to the Promotion will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Promoter. 
   6. The Promotion and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
   6.  6. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other Social Network. Entrants are providing their information to Techtronic Industries EMEA and not to any other party.
   6. 6. If any provision of these terms and conditions are held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
   6. 6. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or affiliates will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
