I have only recently invested in some Ryobi tools for DIY tools they seem robust and all have saved me time and effort. I like the flexible battery platform and the batteries compared to some other brands are reasonably priced especially if you wait for an offer to come out. I recently got two free tool bags as a promotional offer -the bags for DIY were really nice quality and plenty of pockets.

Does the job it's designed to do

Ordered direct from Ryobi. Delivered quickly and well packaged. Great tool for my hedges as I used to have to cut the tops via a ladder on a fairly steeply sloping driveway. Not the best from a health & safety point of view. When it's at the full extension length, it can be a bit front heavy but the shoulder strap helps with the weight distribution. The only other niggle is that the lock button and on button are quite a way behind and can be a bit awkward to reach. Overall though, it did exactly what it was bought to do.
