Using a glue gun is simple and straightforward. Here's a step-by-step guide:

1. Prepare your workspace: Set up your work area with a heat-resistant surface, as the glue gun will get hot during use.
2. Insert the glue stick: Load the glue stick into the back of the gun, pushing it into the feed mechanism until it clicks into place.
3. Heat the gun: Wait for it to heat up – most glue guns take a few minutes to reach the desired temperature.
4. Test the glue: Gently squeeze the trigger to push the glue out. You'll see it begin to melt and flow from the nozzle. Test it on a scrap surface to make sure it's ready.
5. Apply the glue: Hold the gun like a pen and squeeze the trigger to apply a small amount of glue where you need it. The glue will dry quickly, so work fast.
6. Let it cool: Once you've applied the glue, let it cool and set for a few seconds. The glue hardens as it cools, securing your materials in place.
