Interiors inspired by the countryside have been popular for a while, and will continue to reign supreme over the upcoming season. Florals are back, but with a dark Gothic twist. Dainty floral prints and country-cottage is out – we are seeing bold blooms, such as hydrangeas, tulips and roses dominating the season’s most on-trend fabrics, ideally in autumn 2015’s dark and moody palette. Think dark heavy tweeds, deep and detailed graphics and sumptuous velvets and you’ll be on the right lines.
