For users, performance means power and capacity. With an 1800W motor and an 80mm cut capacity at 90º degrees, the RTS1800EF can be used for wide a range of applications. The user benefits from the extra 480mm capacity to the right and even more supporting surface to assist when cutting longer pieces of wood.
The 48T TCT blade that supports the RTS range confirms the tool’s precision claims. The full cast aluminium table along with the rip fence that intuitively has the same length as the table top enables the user to best align the work piece and guarantee the highest possible stability. Going a step further, the RTS1800EF is equipped with an adjustable foot to secure balance even when the tool is placed in areas of uneven flooring.
With a table base up to 60% percent smaller in volume than its predecessor, the RTS1800EF weighs just 26.8 kg. The portability of the RTS1800EF is unrivalled: The tool folds in seconds and the deluxe legs serve as a trolley for transportation.
RTS1800EF has a soft start with overload protection that prevents the motor from damage and prolonged wear and tear.
Ryobi goes above and beyond, producing the first table saw within the European marketplace that adheres to the IEC62481, the latest global standard regulation that caters to the safety requirements of transportable motor-operated electric tools. For instance, all the range is equipped with a blade guard “Quick Release” mechanism in order for the user to instantly remove or install back the blade guard.
