What Is A Wrench?

HOW DOES AN IMPACT WRENCH WORK?

An impact wrench uses a motor and spring to accelerate a rotating hammer. The hammer hits an anvil / output shaft and generate impact energy, which is transferred to spin the head of the impact wrench. This metal on metal action occurs over a few thousand times each minute. Generating 8x or more torque compared to a standard drill.

When to use an impact driver or an impact wrench?

When deciding between an impact driver or an impact wrench, the main factor to consider is the size of the fastener.
