Lightweight 4-Cycle Petrol Power unveiled by Ryobi Lawn and Garden

Dedicated to delivering outstanding performance and reliability, Ryobi is leading the way in the lawn and garden power tool market in 2009 as it unveils its latest ranges featuring revolutionary technology and product innovation.

Heavy investment in new product development has led to groundbreaking innovation for the year ahead, Ryobi Lawn and Garden has developed 4-Cycle Petrol Power – making it the lightest and smallest of its kind, the 4-Stroke Engine removes the need to mix petrol and oil.  4-Cycle Petrol Power reduces vibration and lowers noise levels by 20%.  Emissions are also reduced by up to 40%, without compromising on power where it’s needed.  In turn, running costs are also lower.

Featuring a split shaft for ease of transport, the 4-Cycle Petrol Power range includes the RLT430CES 30cc 4 Stroke Line Trimmer (retailing at £199.99 SSP) and RBC430SES 30cc 4 Stroke Brush Cutter (retailing at £219.99 SSP), both compatible with Ryobi’s Expand-It™ attachments.

Included as standard, the RLT430CES and RBC430SES both feature two line heads - Reel-Easy™ head, using an innovative ‘Thread and Load’ system for rapid line feed and the Pro Cut II™ head, with a unique ‘Push and Pull’ system for fast and easy line feed.   RBC430SES also comes with a quick release shoulder strap.

Adam Morley, Director of Marketing and Product Management for TTI, commented:  “4-Cycle Petrol Power uses revolutionary compact engine technology, and we’ve really redefined the 4 Stroke engine.  Offering responsive power exactly where needed, we feel confident that that garden enthusiasts will be suitably impressed by our new range of products”.
